  • Biography
I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from Bucknell University in 1998 and a Ph.D. in Immunology and Molecular Pathogenesis from Emory University in 2003.  In 2006 I completed a 3-year post-doctoral fellowship in Endocrinology.  During my career as a research scientist, I have gained experience in written, visual, and oral communication skills.  I have authored numerous scientific publications and a successfully funded NIH grant, prepared slide and poster presentations, and given talks at both the local and national level.  I am skilled at presenting complex material to both professional and general audiences.  I have experience in many scientific and medical areas and I am always up for the challenge of learning something new.
