I don't know the specifics of PlugY myself as i don't use it, but perhaps it tampers with the .txt files, and you could end up with a corrupted version of the game. Remember, you odds of getting a key is 1/14 for countess. but your odds of NOT getting a key is 13/14. So your odds of NOT getting a key in 14 runs is 37% which is still pretty high.
