Cura not printing in center of bed
WebI updated Cura, and now my prints are not centered on the bed Hi! Bit of a 3D printing newbie here. I don't do any complex stuff, typically, so I'm kind of lost here. I updated Cura from 3.6 to 4.4, mostly because it was about time. Worried that there might be issues afterwards, I saved my 3.6 settings just to be sure. WebWhen the file is loaded in cora it shows in the center, but when the printer starts it is in the top left where it auto homes. After a couple minutes the pla just falls off the bed. I'm setting the bed temp to 60. Set it up in cora as creality ender-3 printer at 235x235x250. Any help is much appreciated. Still trying to print this damn test dog

WebJul 7, 2024 · Do the same for the tip to front edge of bed, add 200 and that'll give you the Y dimensions. I think mine ended up something like 260 for X and 240 for Y or the other way round, can't remember. Print head always starts from home. There might be an easier way but that's the way I do it. Also, IIRC the Ender models have a zero position slightly off of the bed.
WebMay 1, 2024 · Posted May 1, 2024 (edited) · Printing off the table In Cura - check the machine settings for your printer and make sure the build plate size is correct. It should be 235 x 235 x 250. Oh, and in Cura 4.4 you couldn't select an Ender 3 Pro as a printer, but in the new versions you can.

WebDec 22, 2024 · In Cura go to the Machine menu and the open the Machine Settings item and review and set for your printer. Review the "Machine Center 0,0" setting. I could see that the printer settings for the Ender 3 changed between 3.6 and 4.4. That will move your local 0,0 to the new position.
