WebI know the 680x is pretty similar to the 280x but is obviously bigger. The only issue I can think of would be to check the tube clearance to the glass once you seat the card. This is the reason I gave the Ftw3 hybrid to my friend and instead took an xc3 hybrid. The clearance from the Ftw3 and the xc3 is like another inch of depth needed.
