WebSep 16, 2024 · Defaults should make that motor run. Tuning at first start is not a good idea. It shouldn't die. Most likely you are not getting a good +12V to the unit. The ECU doesn't respond well to a weak electrical system. Be sure you have +12V at start and more once the alternator kicks in.

But in practice, the prime shoots quite a bit of fuel into the throttle body. which may be ok on a stone cold engine (we've found it's hit or miss), but it does that prime shot regardless of engine temp. So warm starts would shoot the same amount. WebIf the signal that tells the ECU to enable nitrous is a +12V signal, or a grounding signal, set this value accordingly. Spark advance should be retarded when nitrous is on. How much depends on the engine and nitrous combination. A richer target should be set with nitrous. This is that target when the nitrous is on.

I just put in a new fuel pump that should be about 70 psi and everything seems to be running and pumping well but I don’t get a prime shot from the fitech.
